COVID-19 Update

Please note we have introduced social distancing measures in order to protect you and our staff from coronavirus.  We are following the guidance from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and the British Veterinary Association.

Our Neath surgery is open 7 days a week for consultations.  Our other branches have more limited opening hours, please see below.

Our front desks are now open for you to collect medications. We are not currently doing any face to face consultations so please do not enter our buildings if you have an appointment please phone to let us know you have arrived. 

If your pet needs to be put to sleep we have arrangements in place in our Neath surgery for you to be with your pet at this difficult time.

If you need repeat medication for your pet we require 2 working days notice. 

Once you have arrived at the practice please phone us to let us know you are here, stay in your car and a member of staff will come and collect your pet.  We will consult with you over the phone.

Please bear with us as consultations are taking  longer than normal.

We will not be accepting cash at the practice and will ask you to pay for medications and treatment by card over the phone at the time of ordering or treatment of your pet.

Pontardawe is open Monday morning, Tuesday afternoon, Thursday morning and Friday afternoon for appointments and collection of pre-ordered prescriptions.

Maesteg is open Monday afternoon, Tuesday morning, Thursday afternoon and Friday morning for appointments and collection of pre-ordered prescriptions.

Cwmavon is open Wednesday afternoons for appointments and collection of pre-ordered prescriptions.

We are currently doing building work in our Neath car park and need to move our vaccination appointments to our branches. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and expect to be back to normal by the first of November. 

Our main surgery is on Pen Y Dre, Neath and we also have branches in Pontardawe, Maesteg and Cwmavon.

We have a cat clinic in a separate building at our Neath premises.This is currently being used as our vaccination clinic.

We know how much you care for your pet and we do too. It is our goal is provide you and your pet with the best possible service, both in preventative healthcare and when your pet is unwell.

We provide our own out of hours cover so your pet can be seen 24 hours a day 365 days a year in case of an emergency.  We have nurses on-site 24 hours a day in our Neath branch.

We offer a pet health club.  This enables you to give your pet the very best in preventative health care for a monthly direct debit fee.  We have puppy and kitten packages available.

Our farm plus page gives you some practical ideas on farm design and innovation, links to useful websites and news about Neath Young Farmers club.
