Bull Fertility Testing Service
We were the first practice in Wales to introduce bull fertility testing service via electroejaculation in 2006. According to current statistics around 25% of stock bulls in the UK are subfertile.
We are one of the leading farm vet practices in Wales to offer a bull fertility testing service and have been testing bulls since 2006, currently test over 100 bulls a year. The bulls we test are presented either for examination prior to sale or as a result of poor performance in herds. The whole procedure takes approximately one hour to complete with most results obtained at the time of testing and within 24hrs. All bulls are tested according to BCVA standards by fully trained and certified practice vets and certificates with explanatory notes are provided on test completion.
We also carry out bull examinations on behalf of insurance providers.
